There was an incredible atmosphere at the Women in Tech Awards last Thursday.
Dr. Pixie McKenna did a fantastic job of hosting the ceremony, the panel discussion led by Gen Ashley of Women Who Code London gave us all a lot to take home as each panellist had at least one quote that stuck with us for days to come. The night was topped off with a powerful speech from Brenda Romero which had guests cheering & laughing at one stage and holding back tears towards the end. Sufficient to say, it was a night to remember, and one we at Dublin Tech Summit, are very proud of.
Special thanks to panellists Anne Ravanona, Gordon Lynn, Julie Sinnamon and Tom Bentley.
One of the resounding comments from the judging panel was how high the bar had been set and how difficult a task it was to choose winners, therefore, massive congratulations are due to all the nominees who made the shortlist.
